STAR ANISE
SCULPTURE

BY MGA SCULPTURE STUDIO

Unique finishes for sculptures and artwork!

Here’s something you don’t see every day! Star anise is a spice obtained from a species of evergreen tree native to southeast Asia. What’s even more unusual is this supersized, molded replica. It’s another masterpiece created by MGA Sculpture Studio of St. Petersburg, Florida – brought to life with exploding color and reflectivity thanks to our spray-on chrome process!

MGA Sculpture Studio has teamed up with Spectra Chrome frequently over the years – because Spectra Chrome always provides a spectacular finish that’s sure to impress even the most critical eye. What is most amazing is that the Spectra Chrome process can be used on any canvas the sculptor desires – from molded plastic, fabricated metals, and carved wood; to cast fiberglass, plaster, cement, and more…

Project Details

High-end art is one of the most creative markets for Spectra Chrome – the ability to apply a reflective mirror finish on virtually any substrate creates exciting possibilities that simply didn’t exist before.
